West Block Wins Best Multi-Family Over $250,000! Located in the desirable Glenora Neighborhood near downtown, this 3.5-acre mixed-use development shines as an urban village. It features a community plaza that blends perfectly with the area and upcoming LRT, offering plenty of retail and commercial spaces, plus a new three-storey professional building in addition to it’s tower complete with luxury residential suites.

We are thrilled to announce that Cantiro has won three awards at this year’s BILD Alberta Awards!

  • SINGLE FAMILY – Energy Efficiency: Woodhaven Edgemont Custom Net Zero
  • MULTI-FAMILY UNIT OVER $600,000 – West Block Penthouse
  • SAFETY LEADERSHIP BUILDER – This award recognizes an organizations efforts around their safety initiatives, innovative ways to improve the mental health and psychological wellbeing of their employees, as well as how management goes above and beyond OHS legislation to ensure safety within the industry.

Alberta Construction Safety Association

We are thrilled to share that Cantiro has also won the Trailblazer Award with the Alberta Construction Safety Association. This award recognizes organizations that demonstrate their commitment to enhancing workplace safety and to promoting health and safety in the communities they serve.

2023 CHBA Awards of Excellence

We are thrilled to announce that Cantiro has won four of the top awards at this year’s CHBA Edmonton Awards of Excellence, marking a historic achievement for our organization.   

A first in the industry, no other company has won these four awards in the same year. This accomplishment is the culmination of several years of hard work, dedication, and transformation across our company’s practices, processes and products. We thank our team and trade partners for making this year an outstanding success. 

Cantiro totaled 16 award wins across Development, Single Family, Multi-Family and Advertising categories including Best Net Zero Home. An additional 17 Cantiro entries were recognized as finalists in their categories.

2020 RTPI International Award for Planning Excellence

The RTPI Awards are prestigious international awards held in London, UK that celebrate outstanding contributions to planning across the globe. These awards are considered some of the most respected and established of its kind for this sector.

In partnership with Edmonton-based Stantec Consulting Ltd, our project in the Hills at Charlesworth achieves an eco-friendly lifestyle based on low-impact development and sustainable building principals.

The Sustainability Plaza is a recreation hub with solar and wind powered hybrid lights, solar powered wi-fi, a solar powered playground, repurposed sea-can containers, and a 200-metre ice ribbon for winter ice skating.

We are proud to be both the developer and a builder within this amazing community.
