Carla has been in the homebuilding industry for 25 years. She built her first home in her early 20s and was fascinated by the process—so much so that even before working in the industry, she was the type of person who toured new show homes right when they opened, just to see how different builders approached design. That curiosity eventually turned into a career helping people find the right place to call home.

She collects antique typewriters. She’ll often type out poems as they come—unedited and unpolished—no backspace, no do‑overs.

She collects century‑old china. The kind of pieces that have been part of family meals and celebrations for generations… and yes, she puts them in the dishwasher (against all advice).

She used to paint. She hasn’t picked up a brush in years, but when she did, hours could disappear—often painting “four‑leggeds.”

And a new addition: Carla also loves building Lego modular cities—a fun, after‑hours extension of her love for homes and communities.
