In our latest ongoing blog series, we’ll introduce you to the members of our award-winning sales team at Cantiro Homes. Today, we’re excited to introduce Caroline Bliss, our Area Sales Manager in Riverstead at Keswick and Glenridding Ravine in South Edmonton. Caroline is an award-winning Area Manager, dually recognized at the BILD Awards with a sales volume achievement award – Silver Sales Volume. She continuously goes above and beyond in assisting families in buying their next home.  Note to self: 14 awards

How long have you been working in the new home industry?

My career in sales began in 1997, when I started my own business selling window coverings. After three years at All West Commercial Furnishings, I made the leap into new home sales in 2002. My entry into the industry was unconventional—encouraged by a friend’s partner while I was in the birthing room for my first child!

Since then, I’ve worked with several builders, including Sterling Homes, Greenboro Homes, Alquinn Homes, and Connect Homes, before joining Dolce Vita Homes. When Dolce Vita rebranded to Cantiro, the entire sales team made the move together, maintaining the same values and commitment to excellence.

Joining Cantiro was always part of my plan. I felt a strong alignment between my own values and those of the company’s leadership. Doing the right thing has always been a priority for me. This commitment to integrity and customer service has helped Cantiro earn a stellar reputation and numerous awards—now totaling 13.

In your opinion, what differentiates Cantiro from other builders?

I believe Cantiro’s focus on customer service and quality truly differentiates us from other builders. Our level of quality is much higher than any other production builder, and we have more service staff than I’ve ever worked with before. The empathy and genuine care shown by our team make all the difference for homeowners.

WHAT DO FIRST-TIME HOME BUYERS NEED TO CONSIDER?

My advice for first-time buyers is practical and heartfelt: Consider your affordability—not just what you qualify for, but what you’re comfortable spending month to month. You want to enjoy life, travel, and not have all your money tied up in your home. Start small if needed, and remember that owning is always better than renting.

WHAT ARE 3 FUN FACTS ABOUT YOU?

  1. Boating Enthusiast: I hold a boating license and love spending time on the water, especially at my lakefront property.
  2. Loves to Make People Laugh: Bringing humor into my daily life is important to me, and I dream of trying stand-up comedy one day.
  3. Fishing Fan: I enjoy fishing, I’ve certainly caught a lot of walleye. I grew up catching sturgeon fish with my father in Manitoba.

WHAT EXCITES YOU MOST ABOUT THE HOME-BUYING JOURNEY?

Note to self: Rephrase – First time home buyers, makes me feel nostalgic for my first home.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE COMMUNITY AMENITY IN Riverstead at Keswick?

When it comes to community amenities, I love being just five minutes from Movati gym, which makes fitness and wellness a convenient part of my daily routine. Having a full-service fitness center so close means I can easily fit in a workout before or after work without spending extra time commuting.

Movati offers everything from strength training and cardio equipment to group classes like spin, yoga, and Pilates, so there’s always something new to try. For me, it’s not about maintaining balance and prioritizing health in a way that feels effortless. Living in a community where these amenities are accessible adds so much value to everyday life, and it’s one of the reasons I love where I work and live.
