Let’s meet Lissa

I can’t believe that I’ve been in new home sales for over 15 years now! Time just goes by so fast. I started out under the guidance of Maurizio Naccarato at Dolce Vita (now Cantiro) and haven’t looked back since, he was a wonderful mentor. I’ve always gravitated towards builders with impeccable reputations and stellar products which is how I found myself here today.

What are three fun facts about you?

I am a small-town girl, I grew up outside of Grande Prairie, AB; which has given me a strong sense of community.

I am an only child and my parents’ favourite.

I was Dolce Vita’s first employee.

WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR HOME BUYERS?

It’s important for first time homebuyers to really understand that oftentimes you get what you pay for. Even though a competitor might offer you a lower upfront price, you have to consider what that might cost you down the road. It’s important to do your research and understand the value that is attached to quality.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE Cantiro MODEL?

Entertain Gather 22 because that house knows how to party. It has so much space for hosting beautiful gatherings. This is a home that is meant for dinner parties and cocktail hours. There is space for just the biggest table that you could set up with place cards and tablescapes. Your imagination can really run wild in this home.

WHAT excites you most about the home-buying journey?

I love seeing the excitement on the customers’ faces throughout each stage of the build. The new build process can be quite a journey and it’s a wonderful opportunity to get to bond with people. Sometimes, buyers really love making me feel like a part of the process, so they’ll come into the show home and show me the new furniture that they’ve ordered, and they’ll ask me if I think it’ll go with their interior selection. This job isn’t just about helping people build the home that they’ll love forever, it’s also about building relationships that will last a lifetime.

WHat is it that makes cantiro special?

The service! Hands down the best. From the sales to the warranty crew, you’re part of the family. I have seen the client care team go to incredible lengths to make sure that the client is happy, right down to the finest and smallest of details.

What’s your favourite community amenity in spruce grove?

Jubilee Park is my absolute favorite spot in Spruce Grove. Spanning over 60 acres, the park features beautiful walking trails, lush green spaces, and numerous picnic tables. It’s a hub for fun activities, including frisbee golf, playground, splash park, and basketball courts.

In the winter, the park transforms with toboggan hills and a skating loop, providing year-round enjoyment. Throughout the year, Jubilee Park also hosts various community events, concerts, and festivals, making it a vibrant center for our community.
