Etta Fung — Cantiro Homes Area Sales Manager in Glenridding.

In our latest ongoing blog series, we’ll introduce you to the members of our award-winning sales team at Cantiro. Today, we’re excited to introduce Etta Fung, our Area Sales Manager in Glenridding Ravine, Southwest Edmonton. Etta is an award-winning Area Manager, dually recognized at the BILD Awards with a sales volume achievement award – Bronze Sales Volume. She continuously goes above and beyond in assisting families in buying their next home.

Let’s meet Etta

This is my 12^th year in real estate industry, and I actually just celebrated 6 years with Cantiro on December 17^th. I still love it so much. I know it’s cheesy to say, but there’s so much to learn every single day and that’s exactly what I find so rewarding about this job.

My journey into home sales was a very gradual, natural progression. I started part time while I was in school. My manager at the time really encouraged me to stick with it, so I did!

What are three fun facts about you?

I love pinball, my favourite machine is Elvria and The Party Animals. One of my favourite events happens every year in Sherwood Park; it’s called the YEGPIN Pinball & Arcade Expo. In 2025, it is scheduled for May 15 – 18^th and features 250 different pinball machines and classic arcades. Maybe I’ll see you there!

I play piano, mostly for fun. I love playing pop music, I do some sight-reading. My next project is Chappell Roan’s Pink Pony Club. I quite like music in general, I’m always looking for new concerts to go to and artists to explore.

I was born in Hong Kong; I hold a dual citizenship. I read and write in Chinese. Edmonton offers a ton of free language programs for primary school age children, so it was a beautiful way for me to honour and connect with my heritage.

WHAT excites you most about the home-buying journey?

For me, the home-buying journey is all about imagining the future together. I love thinking about how a good investment like a home can completely change someone’s life in five years. I am so proud of all of my clients who have taken that first scary leap into home ownership. Even one year after owning a home, the amount of equity you will have built is impressive.

WHat is it that makes cantiro special?

Cantiro really lives by their credo “never accept the acceptable,” we always make sure that each of our projects aligns with our values as a builder. We really do our due diligence to know what the latest long term trends are in home design.

We do this so that when we build your home; it will maintain its value for years to come. We’re also deeply interested in designs that will make your life better, easier, and more enjoyable.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE COMMUNITY AMENITY IN glenridding?

My favourite community amenity is the access Whitemud Creek Ravine. It is so easy to imagine your future children chasing fireflies in the early twilight or spotting a deer browsing under the snow on an early winter morning – all from the comfort of your backyard. Glenridding is almost at the end of construction, which means brand new houses with none of the noise.

etta’s favourite Cantiro Model is the Family flow 24

I have to say, it’s the Family Flow 24. It’s easily one of our most iconic designs with the gorgeous windows in the front room. Because of the open to below staircase – light and movement just stream effortlessly from one end of the house to the other. Walking through this home just gives you an easy feeling in your chest; like you’re letting go of a breath that you didn’t know you were holding.
