The Hills: RPTI Awards for Planning Excellence – 2020 Finalist

We are honoured and excited to announce that the Sustainability Plaza in the Hills at Charlesworth, is one of only 8 finalists in the world for the 2020 Royal Town Planning Institute Award for Planning Excellence, a prestigious award held in London, UK that recognizes contributions that outstanding planners and planning makes to society. These awards are considered the most respected and established of its kind for this sector.  In association with Stantec Consulting Ltd, our eco-friendly project in the Hills at Charlesworth creates a livable space for community residents while promoting a green footprint.

Among its features, the Sustainability Plaza is home to a solar-powered playground, an expansive community garden, and free solar-powered WIFI for residents. This aligns with the Hills at Charlesworth’s strong identity and sense of place based in low-impact development and sustainable building principles.
