Greenbury is home to beautiful brownstone architecture, the K–9 Prescott Learning Centre, the TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre and the spectacular 60-acre Jubilee Park filled with trees, wetlands, picnic areas and more.
The Community Centre—in partnership with Parkland School Division, City of Spruce Grove, Province of Alberta and the YMCA of Northern Alberta—provides families in Spruce Grove with access to licensed and accredited child care and support services within walking distance of their homes with the convenience of being adjacent to the new K–9 Prescott Learning Centre located in Prescott’s neighbourhood.
The YMCA of Northern Alberta is one of the largest and most trusted providers of licensed not-for-profit child care in Western Canada. Today the YMCA operates 67 Child Cares Programs in the Edmonton, Wood Buffalo and Grande Prairie regions. Each week over 3,000 children attend YMCA of Northern Alberta Child Care.
The YMCA Child Care Centre will serves over 160 children in the community—providing families with immediate access to much needed child care. The 10,700 sq. ft. YMCA facility includes dedicated space for infant, pre-school, pre-kinder and after school activity rooms for K–6 children. Located at the rear of the Community Centre is a dedicated walkway that is a direct link to the Prescott K–9 Learning Centre which provides an immediate and safe passage for children attending the Community Centre.

Three Windspires® are located in the plaza at the entrance to the neighbourhood. These Windspires® harvest wind energy and use the energy to power entrance lighting to the neighbourhood.
