In our latest ongoing blog series, we’ll introduce you to the members of our award-winning sales team at Cantiro Homes. Today, we’re excited to introduce Leah Turner, our Area Sales Manager in Rosenthal, West Edmonton.
How do you offer a special customer experience?
Exceeding my clients expectations is my ultimate goal! Whether it is matching them to the perfect quick possession home or customizing and building from scratch, I ensure to take the time to ask the right questions in order to truly understand their needs and provide them with the best options for their family and lifestyle.
In your opinion, what differentiates Cantiro from other builders?
Product Quality/Service—Cantiro is definitely a step above in this category. We set our own high standards, never accepting the acceptable, always pushing to find a better way. It feels great to have confidence in what I am selling by knowing I am delivering an elevated experience and product to my clients.
Customization—I love that Cantiro allows us to customize our Premier models to suit clients specific needs. Floor plan design is my passion, I gain immense satisfaction from bringing vision to life and ultimately creating the perfect home for my clients.
Net Zero Homes—Cantiro Homes is recognized by the CHBA as a Net Zero Qualified Builder. I love that we offer this type of build to clients who are looking to be more energy efficient by including some or all of these innovative options in their home. I am very excited about our upcoming project in Kelowna called Owl’s Nest—an exclusive collection of 38 Net Zero luxury homes situated on the shores of Kalamalka Lake.
WHAT ARE 3 FUN FACTS ABOUT YOU?
- I moved to Chile from Vancouver Island, BC when I was 10 years old. My father is a Mining Engineer and took a new job opportunity there to head what is now the largest copper mine in the world. I lived there for a total of 9 years off and on and speak Spanish fluently.
- I am an avid skier. I began competing when I was in high school on Mount Washington, specializing in freestyle and eventually got into instructing. Nowadays I just ski for fun whenever I possibly can!
- I have an Interior Design Diploma. I have always said I’m more of a designer than a salesperson. Adding this to my skill set has allowed me to further assist clients with finishing materials and colour palettes, helping them bring everything together cohesively. I may have suggested furniture and accessories once or twice as well!
WHAT DO FIRST-TIME HOME BUYERS NEED TO CONSIDER?
My advice for first-time home buyers is to work closely with your broker to determine what you can afford. This includes taking into consideration property tax, utilities, insurance, etc. so you have a clear idea as to how much you will be spending per month. WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT Rosenthal?
I love Rosenthal because all of the green space reminds me of my home in BC. You find yourself surrounded by an abundance of nature including tall, mature trees and a beautiful ravine. There are plenty of walking trails within community, as well as a spray park for young families to enjoy!
Rosenthal is a great community because you’re tucked away from the hustle and bustle but still close to everything you need.
